Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly do I get when I buy a blueprint?

You get the same package my private landscape design clients receive—just in a ready-to-use digital format. Each blueprint includes a photorealistic rendering of the finished garden, a scaled planting diagram with exact spacing, a complete shopping list with specific plant names and quantities, step-by-step installation instructions, and a seasonal care guide.

How do I get my blueprint after I buy it?

Instantly. You'll receive an email with your download link right after purchase. The files are PDFs that work on any device—phone, tablet, laptop. Print them out, save them, or pull them up at the nursery. No waiting, no shipping.

I'm a complete beginner. Can I actually do this?

Yes—and honestly, beginners are exactly who these are designed for. These blueprints have helped hundreds of first-time gardeners transform their yards. If you can follow a recipe, you can install one of these gardens. The instructions walk you through everything, and if you get stuck, I'm available 24/7.

Will these plants work in my zone?

All blueprints are designed and tested for USDA zones 4–8. Not sure what zone you're in? The USDA has a free zone finder tool at planthardiness.ars.usda.gov.

Outside zones 4–8? No problem. Reach out and I'll recommend substitute plants that work for your climate. Same great design, adapted to where you live.

What if my nursery doesn't have the exact plants listed?

It happens—nursery stock varies by region and season. If you can't find a specific plant, just reach out. I'll suggest a substitute that works just as well in the design.

How big of a space do I need?

Each blueprint listing includes the dimensions of the garden bed. If you're not sure whether a design will fit your space, send me a message—I'm happy to help you figure it out.

How long does it take to install?

Most designs can be planted in a single weekend. You don't need special tools—just basic gardening supplies.

What if I have questions while I'm planting?

You've got 24/7 access to a real designer—me. Not a chatbot, not a generic support ticket. I know every plant in every blueprint personally, and I'm here to help you get it right.

How are these different from free plans on Pinterest or blogs?

Most of what you find online is AI-generated or pulled from a generic database. These blueprints are real designs from a Cornell-certified landscape designer, tested through hundreds of actual client projects.

What's your refund policy?

Because these are digital products delivered instantly, all sales are final. But I stand behind every design, and if you run into issues I'm here to help you make it work. That 24/7 support isn't just marketing; it's how I do business.

Who designs these?

I do—Nora Saintz. I hold a Landscape Design Certificate from Cornell University, I'm a Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional, and I've been designing gardens professionally for nearly 20 years through my firm, Gardenette.
